Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's Stree 2 continues to set the box office ablaze with its staggering revenue figures. Now in its second weekend, this horror-comedy has maintained its dominance, benefiting immensely from the lack of significant competition. On its second Saturday, the film's earnings soared past the 30 crore mark, showcasing its enduring appeal.

In just eight days, Stree 2 has amassed over 400 crores globally, with its total now standing at a remarkable 455 crores. Of this, approximately 70 crores have been generated from international markets. As the film heads into its ninth day, it is poised to effortlessly breach the 500 crore milestone, pending official confirmation of this achievement.

Released on August 15, 2024, Stree 2 initially faced stiff competition from Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa during Independence Day. However, the films led by Akshay Kumar and John Abraham quickly fizzled out. Although other contenders, such as Deadpool & Wolverine and the re-release of Laila Majnu, are available, Amar Kaushik's direction has continued to captivate audiences, bolstered by overwhelmingly positive word-of-mouth.
