Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to New Delhi on Thursday morning after completing a five-nation tour from July 2 to 9, which included stops in Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, Brazil, and Namibia. The visit also saw his participation in the 17th BRICS Summit held in Rio de Janeiro under Brazil’s chairmanship.
The tour began in Accra, Ghana, on July 2, marking the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to the West African nation in over three decades. In Accra, PM Modi held bilateral discussions with President John Mahama, focusing on strengthening ties across key sectors such as trade, energy, defence, and development cooperation.
