In a major counter-intelligence operation, Indian authorities have arrested six nationals, including Haryana-based travel vlogger Jyoti Malhotra, for allegedly spying for Pakistan. The suspects are accused of sharing sensitive information through WhatsApp, Telegram, and Snapchat with a Pakistani embassy official, who was expelled from India on May 13.
Separately, Abu Saifullah, a senior Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist and close associate of LeT chief Hafiz Saeed, was gunned down by unidentified assailants in Pakistan’s Sindh province. Operating under several aliases, Saifullah was the mastermind behind multiple attacks against India, including the 2006 assault on the RSS headquarters in Nagpur.
Meanwhile, New Delhi is preparing to brief the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) on the terrorist infrastructure targeted during Operation Sindoor. The Indian government says the intelligence will highlight the ongoing presence of terror bases in Pakistan.
New intelligence has also surfaced regarding Pakistan’s drone activities along the border, intensifying security concerns in the region.
