The UAE and Jordan carried out three joint airdrops over Gaza on 27 July, delivering around 25 tonnes of food and medical supplies to both northern and southern areas.
This comes as part of broader aid efforts. The UAE, through Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, has delivered over 29,500 tonnes of aid since 2023, including food, shelter, and clean water projects. It also committed $15 million to the Amalthea maritime corridor to support sea-based deliveries.
Meanwhile, Jordan sent 147 aid trucks into Gaza in July and evacuated over 100 patients for treatment. It also operated airlifts and continues to press for unrestricted land access.
Despite these efforts, aid groups warn that deliveries remain far below what’s needed, with access severely limited by ongoing restrictions.
