A massive landslide rocked a secluded village in Papua New Guinea, killing at least 100 people, according to current estimates.
The landslide allegedly impacted Kaokalam Village in Enga Province about 3 a.m. Bodies have been discovered, but villagers believe the number of those killed could be far higher. Residents scale massive boulders and rescue victims from rubble and beneath trees, according to social media videos.
It is unclear if emergency services have visited the remote regions yet.
