Saturday 27th August was a special day at the races with the People’s Turf PLC as the 75th Indian Independence Day was celebrated at Champ de Mars. Our Indian RJ, Tanisha from Wazaa FM, was on field to ensure the entertainment side with a series of fun games throughout the day!
One of the games for the ladies was whoever had a ‘pink lipstick’ in her bag & presented it first, would go with 2 tickets for the Mystik Garden IV offered by Secret Models & Wazaa FM. Surprise! Instead of one winner, we got three; Ragini, Preety & Shenali.
As for men, whoever had a picture of their wife or girlfriend in their wallet would win with 2 tickets for the Concert of Faisal Kapadia offered by His Excellency Mr Arshad Jan Pathan. The winners were Akira & Kevin!
Least but not last, a saree competition was organized for all ladies wearing ‘Sarees’ on that particular day where Ms Priya won a gift hamper offered by People’s Turf PLC.
To end the day on a beautiful note, a surprise gift was offered to the Sreeneebus Family for best twinning outfits! They went with a gift hamper and one voucher offered by City Sport & Wazaa FM.
