Ian Gelder, who played Kevan Lannister on the fantasy series Game of Thrones, has died at the age of 74.
The British actor's career spans decades, with appearances in Torchwood, His Dark Materials, Doctor Who, Snatch, The Bill, and others.
Five months following his diagnostic with bile duct cancer, Gelder died on Monday, his husband and co-star Ben Daniels confirmed on Instagram.
Gelder played Kevan Lannister in five seasons of Game of Thrones and was last seen in an episode of BBC One's period detective series Father Brown earlier this year.
