Four fishermen were rescued after their boat had sunk off the Argyll west coast in Scotland on Wednesday, 21 February.
A rescue helicopter and a local work boat rushed to help the vessel off the Garvellach islands after it began taking on water.
Initially, it seemed that the situation was stable, and efforts began to tow the fishing boat for repairs to Oban, a resort town within the Argyll.
However, due to high seas and gusts of wind, water began to enter the vessel again, and it quickly capsized and sank.
The two crew members who remained on board had to be rescued from the sea by lifeboat volunteers.
The Scottish Ambulance Service took over the care of the fishermen.
